Asuka sure had quite the major night on SmackDown as the former WWE Raw Women’s Champion found herself all types of involved in the women’s title mix.
Asuka ended up winning the three-brand battle royal to challenge Bayley at WWE SummerSlam for the SmackDown Women’s Title, but she also has the added task of challenging Sasha Banks for her old RAW belt as well. In a WWE Network exclusive, Asuka really opens up about earning those opportunities and her plans at following the footsteps of “Becky Two Belts.”
In addition to Asuka earning her SummerSlam shot, Gran Metallik picked up a victory against Shinsuke Nakamura after a surprise return from Kalitso occurred, Post match, Lucha House Party made clear that they have SmackDown gold on their agenda too.
“All I can say is that it’s about damn time, that Lucha House Party becomes tag team champions,” stated a new look Kalisto.
