The latest episode of Being The Elite released today and there are a few developments that viewers can take away from some unlikely alliances, including FTR and their attempt to mend bridges with Kenny Omega.
The “Top Guys” decide to break open a couple brewskis with Hangman Page, but into addition to that, offer chocolate milk to The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega as a peace offering in advance for next week’s twelve man tag match against The Dark Order. It’s clear by Kenny’s drinking methods that he still has his apprehensions about the two.
Speaking of The Dark Order, John Silver and Alex Reynolds pretend to read “The Bible” in hopes of impressing The “Christian AF” Young Bucks, but the two eventually see through their facade and it’s what happens to lead them to their upcoming tag match this week against Cody and Matt Cardona.
Matt has other concerns as well and it happens to be the 50+ demo that they haven’t been getting like other wrestling shows on Wednesday nights, but who seredipitously enters the fray but the recently turned 50 Christopher Daniels, who soon finds himself steering the ship of that elusive and high-sought demographic.
Another Matt (as in Hardy) is also struggling to find something: his AEW identity. Hardy confronts Matt and Nick about his conundrum and we see Matthew Hardy flex his “Mattributes” in multi-tasking.
