Bayley and Nikki Cross met for the second time in as many weeks tonight, with Cross once again getting a shot at the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship. Unfortunately for her, she was once again unable to come away with a win, as Bayley walked out with a big, title retaining win.
Things ended for Cross after she was unable to put away Bayley late in the match. After landing a big splash onto her from the top rope, Bayley continued to kick out of various pin attempts. Eventually, Bayley trapped Cross, planting her face-first into the canvas before pinning her for the victory.
