An update came from the son of the legendary Bobby Fulton after it was discovered yesterday that his cancer had returned. Fulton’s son, Dillon Hines, Tweeted out today that his dad got into surgery early and the operation just completed. Fulton, however, is still in rough condition, but did get the opportunity to speak with Jim Cornette who helped to put him in good spirits.
“Update on dad: They took him back earlier than expected and he is out of surgery. He’s in rough condition still. He’s gotten to talk to his friend @TheJimCornette. Jimmy kept getting dad to laugh. Continued thoughts and prayers for dad, please,” Fulton’s son Tweeted.
It was only a few weeks earlier that the happy news of Fulton’s battle with throat cancer had subsided, but this recent news of a return came out of nowhere as Les Thatcher was one of the first people to notify the world of Fulton’s fight continuing on yesterday afternoon. Fulton is most known for his memorable NWA tag team run as a member of The Fantastics. We here at WrestleZone send Mr. Fulton, his family and all his fans all of our thoughts, prayers and best vibes.
