WWE’s “Horror Show At Extreme Rules” won’t be the first eye for an eye match pro wrestling has seen (hey ohhh) in history, let alone 2020, and Chris Jericho wants his former company to be well aware of that.
It was a mere month before the pandemic really struck the United States when Jon Moxley faced Santana in their own version of the match on AEW Dynamite, which happened to not promote a mutilation payoff like this current one is. Chris Jericho took to Twitter to make note of WWE’s eerily similar name at what some may say be gouging at the AEW ardent fanbase.

All companies are ready and raring to go to “war” once more tomorrow as fans will have a watchful eye on both AEW Fyter Fest and NXT Great American Bash. Fyter Fest has a hefty card conjured up as the aforementioned Jericho is hoping pupils will be on the pulp of his grudge match against Orange Cassidy as one of their headline bouts. NXT on the other hand is hoping their audience still sees the intrigue of their title vs. title main event between NXT Champion Adam Cole and North American Champion Keith Lee after it was potentially spoiled last week on Instagram Live. Jericho has been touting his bout against Cassidy as one of the favorite matches he’s done yet in AEW.
