The show opened up with the announcers running down the card for the evening and Chris Jericho joining the commentary Booth to increase the number of commentators to four. FTR make their debuts in the opening match.
FTR vs. Butcher & Blade
A great debut match for Dax and Cash. The former Revival largely played the babyfaces in that match. their signature tag team moves consisted of the Power Plex, the shatter machine (now called The Goodnight Express) and a spike Piledriver which is called the Mindbreaker. FTR FTW.
Winner: FTR
After the match, Young Bucks came out and introduced themselves to FTR. Butcher would attack the Young Bucks from behind. FTR would make the save which run out the Superbad Squad, which brought out Adam and Kenny. The babyfaces clean house to send us to commercial.

Hikaru Shida & Kris Statlamder vs. Nyla Rose & Penelope Ford
Straight out the gate, the heels took control of the matchup and would largely maintain control into the next commercial break. Back from break, Nyla Rose is continuing to work over Kris Statlander who finally is able to drop the “Native Beast” and make a hot tag to Shida.
Later in the match, it would appear that Shida and Kris hide everything under wraps when Penelope kicked out of the Falcon Arrow and thanks to some interference from Sabian, who tossed in the championship belt and allowed Penelope to hit Shida in the face, Penelope was able to get the win over the champion with a Perfect Plex.
WINNERS: Nyla and Penelope

Sammy Guevara vs. Colt Cabana
The entire picture of this match was that both men needed a win. Sammy was initially too overzealous allowing Cabana to take advantage including a wicked bionic elbow where he bent Sammy in half, towards the latter half of the match oh, it was Cabana who got overzealous and went for the reverse Chicago skyline which allowed Sammy Guevara to get the win.
WINNER: Sammy Guevara
After the match, the dark order Colt Cabana get back up to his feet and he followed them to the back. Elsewhere, Matt Hardy would come out and confront Sammy Guevara telling him to get away from Chris Jericho.

Jon Moxley was interviewed in the parking area of the Arena and said he was pissed off that Taz and Brian Cage believe that Brian Cage can beat him. Brian Cage would attack Moxley from behind and slam him on the hood of a car.

AEW TNT Championship: Cody (c) vs. Marq Quen
A great back and forth contest for the TNT Title. Unfortunately, Marq was struggling with the knee injury for the entirety of the match and it hindered his offense until it cost him the match completely when Cody caught him in an ankle lock that transitioned into an Indian deathlock.
WINNER: Cody
