The show opens up with Jake the Snake Roberts basically saying that women should be barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen. He also goes on to say that watching the work of Lance Archer turns him on. Cody comes out and tries to get the jump on Archer. The action spilled out into the ring and Cody was able to block the claw and the blackout before Jake pulled Lance out of the ring.

Best Friends vs. Jurrasic Express
A match that was largely a friendly babyface exchange. Orange Cassidy, who was wearing a mask, would be on the receiving end of an attack by Rey Fenix. while MJF would ram Jungle Boy into the ring post allowing Chucky tee to hit the Awful Waffle and get the victory for Best Friends.

Penelope Ford vs. Kris Statlander vs. Britt Baker vs. Hikaru Shida
The lady’s pair off with Penelope going after Kris and Shida being attacked by Baker. Statlander and Hikaru briefly form an alliance to take down both of the heels before both women pair off again. For a large portion of the early going, Britt Baker continuously tried to lock in her submission finisher.
Each woman would get a moment to shine with a fun moment for Penelope as she got Kip Sabian to hook Shida and went for a running strike but Shida moved so she just began making out with her fiance.
In the end, Baker became obsessed with getting lockjaw on Kris so Hikaru was able to pick up the win with a running knee. She will now face Nyla Rose at the pay-per-view on May 23.

Proud N’ Powerful vs. Matt Hardy and Kenny Omega
Santana and Ortiz jumped Kenny Omega before he could get in the ring. Matt Hardy came out a little while after and began biting his adversaries. Then action eventually got in the ring and a great tag team match followed. Matt Hardy would bring back his ice pick butterfly lock submission before Sammy Guevara would come limping out to the ring and get a twist of fate on a chair for his trouble. Omega and Hardy would eventually win with an epic V trigger and a top rope twist of fate.
