Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae weren’t on hand for tonight’s episode of NXT, but they did end up sending a message to the world of NXT nonetheless.
In a quick segment shot at their home, Gargano and LeRae said that they could no longer act the same they always had, with Gargano saying they had been taken advantage for far too long. LeRae – who was sporting a brand new hair color – agreed, and the two of them quickly warmed up to the idea of tearing down NXT and rebuilding it in their image. Gargano closed things out by saying that he and LeRae would make history as the first married couple to reign over NXT as champions, a statement that they’ll no doubt try to make come true.
