Like all of us, Mick Foley finds himself in the same situation that we are all in by being “alone together,” but the wrestling legend has made sure it’s given the opportunity to bring out his best “Face of Foley”: kindness.
Foley took to Twitter early this morning to share how much it meant to him to get some thoughtful messages from colleagues and friends such as Becky Lynch and the singer/songwriter Jewel as we are all protecting one another from the spread of the Coronavirus. Foley stated how much their words of encouragement during such an uncertain time meant to him and it inspired him to pass such along.
Mick decided to open up the hashtag doors and invite people to share a favorite memory of him (just not Hell In A Cell!) or their own personal story about their lives, and if time allows it, Mick would send the fan a free video. He did several before deciding to hit the hay for some shut-eye but you can check out his endearing pitch to fans below:
“I have really been thinking of some small way to make a difference in such a troubled time. Please take a look and tell me what you think.”
