Rusev Pledges $20,000 For WWE Employees Out Of Work Due To Coronavirus

Rusev is crushing it when it comes to doing a good deed.

The WWE star went on Twitter and said he’s pledging $20,000 of his own money to his “extended WWE family” that is sitting at home with an income due to the working restrictions during the coronavirus outbreak. Rusev noted a Bulgarian phrase about wanting to give back to the people that make WWE what it is behind the scenes, including production and security employees.

In Bulgaria we say “It’s not a lot but it’s from the heart” I pledge 20,000$ to any of my WWE extended family that are sitting at home without income. WE can’t do it without y’all. Production, security, etc. LOVE YALL.

WWE is reportedly continuing plans to tape content through WrestleMania 36 weekend, which is now a two-night event on April 4 and 5. All events are being held at the WWE Performance Center with no fans and essential personnel only; former NFL star Rob Gronkowski is hosting the event.
