WWE has swerved us all—Matt Hardy will get one more shot at Randy Orton despite it looking like he’d been written off of WWE TV for good.
Following the devastating Con-Chair-To on Brood-era Matt Hardy this past week, the wrestling world assumed that Jeff’s older brother was done with WWE for good. It turns out that Matt is indeed living for the moment, and he has more resilience than we all though. The man who can slap a tornado will try to get revenge on RKO for his brutal beating this coming Monday.
Following #TheViper's vicious attacks, @MATTHARDYBRAND is coming for @RandyOrton in a #NoHoldsBarred Match THIS MONDAY on #Raw!https://t.co/TbciLHqDFP

Will we see Matt revive another one of his past looks for Orton to annihilate? Will Orton take out the WWE Legend permanently this time? And what does it all mean for Matt Hardy’s dwindling WWE contract? One thing’s for sure. If Matt is leaving the company, WWE is going to make sure the door hits him on the way out.
Hardy has also commented on the match, posting the following:
3 days ago, I suffered the worst head & neck trauma possible. A normal man would be out for months-I’m fighting Randy Orton on #RAW. My life & career are both currently in limbo. I also have a powerful, ancient spirit trying to possess me. I AM UNKILLABLE. https://t.co/qplBdm24SR

Update: Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin is reporting Hardy was seemingly written off of WWE TV last week after rejecting the company’s latest contract offer last week, but the attack angle was well-received enough to extend it another week.
