ROH Wrestling Results (1/27/20) : Flamita, Bandido And Rey Horus vs. Villain Enterprises

Backstage, Nick Aldis says he’s been keeping the lights on for Ring of Honor. He says Marty Scurll is stealing his spotlight so the gloves are off; Scurll is in his way, and he’ll expose him for the fraud he is. Aldis dares Scurll to enter a turf war with him.

Shane Taylor, with Shane Taylor Promotions, comes to the ring. He calls out Ring of Honor Chief Operating Officer Joe Koff. He thanks Koff, and says he’s had the best run of his career in Ring of Honor. Taylor wants a guaranteed Ring of Honor World Six-Man Tag Team Championship match, a guaranteed Ring of Honor World Championship match, and he wants to be treated as a real star. Taylor also wants the most lucrative contract in Ring of Honor history.

The show plays highlights of Josh Woods’ match with Jonathan Gresham at Ring of Honor Saturday Night at Center Stage. They exchange technical wrestling holds. Jay Lethal distracts Woods and Gresham takes control. The Octopus hits Woods below the belt. Silas Young and Lethal get ejected from ringside but Lethal hits Woods with the championship belt. Gresham locks in a Figure-Four at ringside and Woods is unable to make it back into the ring. Gresham wins by count-out.

Ring of Honor World Six-Man Tag Team Championship:Villain Enterprises (Marty Scurll, Brody King and Flip Gordon) (c) vs. Flamita, Rey Horus & Bandido 

Before the match, Scurll gets mad at fans who are blaring air horns. Flamita and King start the match and the big man overpowers his opponent. Flamita flies around the ring and takes King down with a hurricanrana. Scurll and Bandido tag in. A dropkick sends Scurll crashing to the mat and both men exchange counters. Gordon and Horus tag in. Horus drills Gordon with a stiff kick but Gordon gives one right back. Scurll floors Flamita with one of his patented kicks. Villain Enterprises isolates Horus. Gordon accidentally clotheslines Scurll, which allows Bandido to tag in. He rocks Gordon with a kick and hits a corkscrew dive onto King. Bandido, Flamita and Horus all dive onto Villain Enterprises outside the ring.

Flamita punches Gordon in the face but a springboard spear takes Flamita down. King tags in and clears house. A Villain Combination on Flamita earns King a two count. King accidentally kicks Scurll. Horus hits a tornado DDT on King for a two count. Bandido nails King with a crucifix powerbomb. Flamita hits a Spanish Fly on Gordon and the match breaks down into chaos. Horus drops King with an athletic DDT. Bandido rocks Scurll with a knee to the head and gets a near fall after Flamita hits a springboard moonsault. Scurll is left alone against the three challengers and they superkick him at the same time. Bandido slaps King and Gordon but he eats a nasty chop. Bandido rolls Scurll up for the win.

Winners and new Ring of Honor World Six-Man Tag Team Champions: Bandido, Flamita & Rey Horus
