NXT is back on top and it wasn’t even close on the last head-to-head show of 2019.
As reported by PW Torch, NXT wound up bringing in 795,000 viewers last night, which is slightly higher than the 778,000 they drew last week. AEW Dynamite was substantially down from last week (where they also did 778,000) and only drew 683,000 viewers. That’s a loss of 95,000 viewers in just one week.
NXT also wound up winning adult and young male demos for the first time. NXT slightly won the 18-49 demographic with a .27 and placed No. 27 for the night (down from No. 21 last week), while AEW placed No. 30 with a .25 (down from No. 11 last week).
