After a brief hiatus from WWE after being criticized by Corey Graves on Twitter, Mauro Ranallo will be returning to NXT.
Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that the commentator has informed WWE that he will come to work this week. As per usual, he’ll be joined by Beth Phoenix and Nigel McGuinness on commentary. He had missed both WWE Survivor Series and last week’s episode of NXT due to the incident with Graves, who later apologized on his podcast.
“This past Saturday, during the Takeover: WarGames event, I sent out a tweet,” said Graves. “It was an unpopular opinion, as I often do with the intention of just stirring up a little controversy, maybe have something fun to talk about on TV or here on the show. It was maybe not the most professional way to go about things, and it was never meant to offend or disrespect or disparage anybody. That was never my intention. If it was taken as such, I apologize deeply.”
