WWE loading up NXT with RAW and SmackDown talent resulted in the brand’s first viewership win over AEW Dynamite.
This week saw NXT edge out AEW, although the TNT broadcast did much better in the 18-49 demographic. Per Showbuzz Daily, AEW Dynamite drew 893,000 viewers, which is down from the 979,000 last week. Meanwhile, NXT pulled 916,000 viewers. That’s a huge increase for NXT, which did 750,000 last week.
As far as rating demographics go, AEW placed eighth place for the night for viewers 18-49 with a .39 rating (down from fifth place) and NXT came in at No. 14 (up from No. 22) with a .30 rating.
