Before WWE RAW, the company taped the latest episode of WWE Main Event. It featured a singles match between Shelton Benjamin and Akira Tozawa, and a tag team match between Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins and Eric Young & Mojo Rawley.
In the opening contest, Shelton Benjamin managed to defeat Tozawa. Meanwhile, Zack Ryder & Hawkins defeated Young & Rawley.
