Backstage, Michael Cole sits down with Kofi Kingston. Cole asks why he would accept Brock Lesnar’s challenge. Kingston says he promised to be a fighting champion. This is just another chapter of that. Kingston says he is at the top of his game. Kingston has worked to long and too hard to let go of the WWE Championship. Kingston is going to remain the WWE Champion.
In-Ring Segment: Chad Gable
Gable says Corbin may still be making short jokes but his run in the King of the Ring was no joke. Before Gable can finish, Mike Kanellis interrupts. Mike makes a few short jokes. Mike says he is here tonight to prove to his pregnant wife that size does matter.
Mike Kanellis vs. Chad Gable
The bell rings and Gable immediately hits a belly-to-belly suplex. Gable obliterates Mike with the release Chaos Theory. Gable puts Mike in the Ankle Lock. Mike taps out.
Winner- Chad Gable
After the match, Elias appears on the ‘Tron and sings a song mocking Gable’s height.
