With Jon Moxley having to pull out of his scheduled match against Kenny Omega at the AEW All Out pay-per-view event, AEW got PAC to replace Moxley and wrestle Omega at this show. For more on that, click HERE.
Dave Meltzer noted in the Daily Update on F4Wonline that with AEW had planned on wanting to do Omega vs. PAC a few months ago. Thus, once Moxley went down with an injury, it made sense to do it at this show.
Meltzer wrote about PAC’s status, “Right now there is no confirmation whether Pac will be in for any other dates besides this one, but they’ve been in talks to bring him in for some time.”
Also, Dragon Gate has no issue with Pac working the AEW show and that he’ll be back with the promotion after this show.
The All Out pay-per-view event takes place on Saturday, August 31st at the Sears Centre in Chicago, IL and will air on traditional pay-per-view.
