Ring Of Honor Stars Added To CMLL Grand Prix

Ring of Honor may have recently severed ties with the NWA, but that doesn’t mean the promotion is without friends in the pro wrestling landscape. Case and point, they’ll be sending four of their top guys to compete in CMLL’s 2019 Grand Prix Tournament in Mexico. Both Briscoe brothers join the fray alongside Kenny King and current ROH Champion Matt Taven.

An ongoing tournament since 1994 (plus or minus a few break periods), CMLL regularly brings in ROH talent alongside stars from New Japan Pro-Wrestling. It’s also worth noting that Matt Taven’s current world title rival RUSH will be competing for Team Mexico in the high stake multi-man tag team contest.
