Ronda Rousey Suffers Gruesome Injury While Filming FOX Show

Former WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey suffered a gruesome finger injury on the set of FOX’s “9-1-1,” where she plays an LA firefighter.

TMZ reports that Rousey was shooting a scene in Mexico last week in which she was supposed to slam a door during a dramatic action moment but was a little “over-exuberant.” As a result, she crushed her fingers.

Her middle finger got the worst of it as it was broken and her tendon was nearly severed and she also fractured the tip of her ring finger.

It was noted in the report that Rousey completed the scene without breaking character. She was taken to a San Diego hospital for treatment and was released after getting her middle finger repaired with a bolt and screws.
