Tonight’s ROH Summer Supercard included a no disqualification match between Rush and Dalton Castle, and unfortunately for Castle, he wasn’t able to utilize the no DQ aspect to come away with a win. After starting out somewhat hot in the match, Castle slowed down as the match went on, and although he used a steel chair to deal some heavy damage to Rush, he was done in by a power bomb that Rush performed, dropping Castle onto the announcer’s table.
After dropping Castle onto the table, Rush threw a bin of garbage into the ring along with some chairs. Once in the ring, he continued his assault on Castle, and then landed a running dropkick onto Castle while in the corner. After that, Rush secured a pinfall victory, and celebrated in the ring for a moment before storming off.
