Fans spotted Rob Van Dam merchandise on-sale for the RAW Reunion and that’s not just WWE clearing old inventory. PWInsider is reporting that Van Dam is indeed backstage and will appear on the broadcast.
This is another sign that IMPACT Wrestling and WWE have a solid working relationship at the moment as the company had to sign off on the appearance. Van Dam recently returned to IMPACT and is working as a singles star. The former WWE and ECW star will only be in a non-wrestling capacity tonight, so expect to see him in a backstage segment.
It’s worth noting that PWInsider.com is reporting RVD’s contract with IMPACT runs through the 2019 Bound For Glory pay-per-view. RVD also posted the following on Twitter, further playing up his appearance tonight:
