In a press release distributed today ahead of Saturday’s Slammiversary show. IMPACT Wrestling announced a partnership with the Dallas Chapter of the NFL Alumni Association, Higher Education & Learning Professional Consulting Inc. (HELP) and The SCORE Program. Guests for the event from this partnership include former NFL players Cris Dishman, Terry Mayo and Oren O’Neal, along with Liffort Hobley, the president of the Dallas chapter of the NFL Alumni Association.
After the show, on Monday, July 8 and Tuesday, July 9, Moose, Tessa Blanchard, and Michael Elgin will join the Arlington Police Department and the Sam Houston High School varsity football team for a two-day SCORE workshop. SCORE assists student-athletes to reach their full academic potential, address social justice issues and build trust with local law enforcement agencies. Ed
Nordholm, EVP of Anthem Sports & Entertainment and president of IMPACT Wrestling, had this to say about the partnership.
“IMPACT Wrestling is honored to have participants from The SCORE Program workshop and alumni members from the Dallas chapter of the NFL Alumni Association at our Slammiversary event. This will launch our own participation in the SCORE Program as an aspect of our growing relationship with the NFL Alumni Association, providing IMPACT Wrestling a unique avenue to contribute to the communities in which we operate.”
