Lio Rush may not currently be appearing on WWE TV, but the “Man of the Hour” is booked for one upcoming wrestling event at his old stomping grounds. Maryland Championship Wrestling has announced that Rush will be attending “Jimmy’s Slamboree” on Saturday, June 1 to support The Bruiser. The event will also feature former WWE star Tye Dillinger and the Guerillas of Destiny.
Lio Rush trained in MCW and made his name there initially. He had success in their tag team division, winning the MCW Tag Team belts alongside the future Velveteen Dream. He also won the Shane Shamrock Memorial Cup in 2015 and 2016.
