At Money in The Bank, Randy Orton, Baron Corbin, Ricochet, Andrade, Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor, Drew McIntyre and Ali competed with a briefcase holding a future championship opportunity on the line. Originally, Braun Strowman held a place in the match before he was replaced by Sami Zayn, who lost his spot after he was attacked backstage. Late in the match, Brock Lesnar ran to the ring and unhooked the briefcase to win the match. Lesnar hadn’t been seen in a WWE ring since WrestleMania.

Orton rolls out of the ring as everyone fights. Bálor sends Andrade to the outside. Orton suplexes Ali on the announce desk. Bálor and Ricochet clothesline Corbin out of the ring. Ricochet leaps out of the ring onto McIntyre and Corbin. Orton suplexes Bálor on the announce desk, then Ricochet. Orton brings a ladder into the ring. Orton starts to climb. Andrade dropkicks the ladder from under Orton. Corbin and McIntyre work together. Ricochet hits a codebreaker on Corbin. Ricochet dumps Corbin out of the ring. Ali and Ricochet try to climb the ladder. Corbin and McIntyre attack Ricochet and Ali. Corbin launches Ali into a ladder. McIntyre does the same to Ricochet. Orton hangman DDTs Corbin. Orton calls for the RKO. Corbin pushes Orton into a Claymore by McIntyre. Bálor hits a sling blade. Bálor double stomps Corbin while Corbin is under a ladder. Bálor climbs the ladder but Andrade hits Bálor with a ladder. Andrade wedges a ladder on the top rope and another ladder.
Andrade climbs. Bálor follows. Andrade and Bálor trade elbow strikes. Andrade sunset flip bombs Bálor on a ladder! Bálor bounces off the ladder and hits the mat hard. Bálor looks to be in bad shape. Ali tornado DDTs Corbin. Ali reverse rannas Ricochet. Ali sets up a ladder. Andrade knocks Ali into a tree of woe in the ladder. Andrade sets another ladder up next to Ali. Andrade climbs. Ali sits up and grabs Andrade. Ali hits a Spanish fly off the ladder. Corbin chokeslams Ali through the announce desk. McIntyre Claymore kicks Corbin. Bálortries to climb the ladder. McIntyre cuts Bálor off. McIntyre reverse Alabama slams Andrade onto Bálor. McIntyre sets up a ladder. McIntyre tosses Ricochet from in the ring over the top rope onto a ladder. McIntyre climbs the ladder again. McIntyre is pulled off the ladder by Orton into an RKO. Corbin sends McIntyre out of the ring. Ali rannas Corbin over the top. Ali climbs the ladder. Brock Lesnar runs down to the ring and knocks Ali off the top. Lesnar climbs the ladder and pulls down the briefcase for the win.
