The lawsuit filed by cameraman Donald Anderson against the WWE and star Titus O’Neil (real name Thaddeus Bullard) has been dismissed. The suit was filed in the United States District Court, Middle Division, of Florida, but was tossed after Anderson informed the court all sides had come to a legal settlement, per PWInsider.
Details of the settlement were not made public. Anderson was suing Bullard and WWE for alleged Battery, Assault, Willful Misconduct, Negligence, Gross Negligence, Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress and Negligent Infliction of Emotional Distress. Bullard became upset while filming a prank for the WWE Network series “Swerved,” which involved Superstars being pranked.
The incident occurred backstage at a WWE taping, when Paige shocked Bullard. He became “enraged,” before charging at and kicking the camera out of Anderson’s hand, injuring him in the process. Now, the lawsuit, which has been active since 2017, seems to be behind everyone.
