Triple H Confirms Two Matches For NXT TakeOver XXV
While tickets officially went on sale today for the NXT TakeOver XXV event, Triple H‘s tweet about the announcement also confirmed two matches set for the event.
Triple H confirmed Adam Cole would face Johnny Gargano for the NXT Championship, and Io Shirai would challenge Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women’s Championship. NXT TakeOver XXV takes place at the Webster Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut on Saturday, June 8.

Backstage Interviewer Debuts For Ring Of Honor
This week’s War Of The Worlds event in Buffalo saw the debut of Quinn McKay as a backstage interviewer for Ring Of Honor. McKay also appeared on last night’s broadcast from Toronto, featured in a number of backstage segments with The Allure, Bully Ray, Matt Taven and more of the ROH roster, including new TV Champion Shane Taylor.
Ring Of Honor had previously announced McKay’s signing in an April edition of Kevin Eck’s ‘Eck’s Files’ report. McKay is also an independent wrestler that has worked for promotions including AAW and East Coast Wrestling Alliance, winning this year’s ECWA Super 8 Chickfight Champion and Women’s Championship.
