Last week, WWE CEO Vince McMahon talked about new hires and a new team for both WWE creative and live events. Many believe that “The Chairman Of The Board” was referring to bringing on names like Bruce Prichard, Dana Warrior, and Jeff Jarrett. However, PWInsider reports that some additional hires have actually been made to both departments.
Michael James Nelson has been hired by WWE to the writing team. Nelson worked on NBC’s ‘Off Their Rocker’ as well as on MTV’s Movie & TV Awards. Also, another writer in Andrea Kail has been added to the team as well. Kail worked on TruTV’s Comedy Knockout, as well as several other projects.
In regards to live events, WWE has hired two new live event managers in Jules Rice and Stefanie Stephens. Rice is the former Marketing Manager for the Houston Sports Authority. Now, Rice will oversee WWE live events in the Mid-West. Stephens was previously a market manager for Cirque du Soliel and recently worked for WrestleMania sponsor, Cricket Wireless. She will oversee the Southeastern-based live events for WWE.
