Mixed martial artist Chael Sonnen recently took to his YouTube channel to discuss WrestleMania 35, and his thoughts on the product are likely exactly what you think they would be. While Sonnen called the product “crap” and spoke about how “embarrassing” some of the people looked, he did discuss the event as a whole, specifically due to how two former UFC fighters appeared on the show.
Sonnen opened the show discussing Brock Lesnar’s introduction to WrestleMania 35, praising it as a “tremendous covering” for what would eventually be a quick finish against Seth Rollins. Later in the video, Sonnen discussed how the UFC has influenced the WWE, and mentioned how two of its former stars had taken to the wrestling world and become big name players.
