According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscription required), Enzo and Cass’ big moment at G1 Supercard may have been less of a work than we all assumed. The former WWE stars hopped the railing after a match getting into a brawl with Bully Ray and others at ringside. According to sources, the angle was planned and the newly christened “nZo and CazXL” are expected to show up in ROH soon. However, they’ve not officially signed contracts with the company at this time, and have no future dates planned.
The pair’s interference was kept secret from almost everyone, including Tonga and Loa, who were celebrating their victory during the commotion. No one on the New Japan side of things was told either. Tonga and Loa were reported “mildly disgusted” by the interference, walking away instead of getting involved in the brawl.
While Enzo and Cass wait to sign new contracts, they’re trying to make bank on a new line of shirts bearing the phrase “you can feel when it’s real”.
