Rey Mysterio has had a long and storied wrestling career, but as he gets older, he’s recently admitted that he can’t see himself competing for much longer.

In an interview with SiriusXM’s Busted Open Radio, Mysterio was asked about how much longer he sees himself sticking around for, when it comes to professional wrestling. His response painted the picture of someone who seems to know that he’s closer to the end of his career than the beginning of it. “I definitely don’t see myself doing this many more years longer. The opportunities that I’ve gotten in my return to WWE, [getting] to face guys the caliber of Andrade, have been incredible,” he said. “So, those kind of things bring the desire within me that I can still do this. I can still go. But if I was to do this on the schedule [I had years ago] I don’t think I could handle it.”
