Sad news just hours before the broadcast of the WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony is scheduled to take place. As confirmed by Pro Wrestling Sheet, Al Wilson, former WWE personality and real-life father of 2019 Hall of Fame inductee Torrie Wilson, died this past Friday. Torrie shared her grief in a post on her Instagram yesterday with implicitly sharing the news.
Al Wilson appeared in an angle between her daughter and Dawn Marie on SmackDown in the mid-aughts. It involved Al marrying Dawn in-storyline, setting up a confrontation between the two Divas at the 2003 Royal Rumble. It also involved Al’s on-screen character dying due to his relations with Dawn.
