Aleksandar first caught WWE’s attention during a German tryout last year. He joins the company amidst continued talks that WWE could launch a German or European branch of NXT to compliment NXT UK. There are already several stars on both existing NXT brands who made their name in German promotion wXw. WWE appears to have a working relationship with that promotion, similar to their ties to PROGRESS in the UK.
