NYC Street Fight: Bully Ray vs. Juice Robinson
This match is anyone’s guess. It’s Bully Ray in a street fight, so it’ll be great regardless. Juice is an odd choice, but Bully keeps teasing that Minoru Suzuki might take Robinson’s place. It’s a confusing match, but probably not one anyone was supposed to think too hard about. Expect tables, chairs, ladders, probably more.
IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship Match: Taiji Ishimori (c) vs. Dragon Lee vs. Bandido
Bandido squeezed his way into this match, after Dragon Lee and Ishimori had a heated confrontation. Expect this to be a whirlwind, and a solid showcase of Ring of Honor, NJPW & CMLL.
WINNER TAKE ALL MATCH: Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa (IWGP Tag Team Champions) vs. Brody King & PCO (ROH Tag Team Champions) vs. EVIL & SANADA vs. Mark Briscoe & Jay Briscoe
The final match in a trilogy of car crashes. All three teams are reckless, hard hitting, and hungry. Weird booking may have gotten us a four-way dance, but the match itself will be absolute fire.
British Heavyweight Championship Match: Zack Sabre Jr. (c) vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi
These two have never had a bad match against each other. They’re also 1-1, and this rubber match will be absolute insanity. There’s a strong possibility that Zack Sabre Jr. will defeat Hiroshi Tanahashi in both men’s Madison Square Garden debut. Let that sentence sit with you for a while.
IWGP Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship Match: Tetsuya Naito (c) vs. Kota Ibushi
Ibushi is fresh off signing a new 2-year deal with NJPW. He wants to look like a good investment. Naito is trying to maintain his status as one of the most profitable wrestlers NJPW has. Plus both men are incapable of having a bad match against each other. If anything could steal the show, it’s this.
