Raw News and Notes 3/25: Who Is / Isn’t Backstage
Thanks to the fine folks at PWInsider, we have some clues as to what will and won’t be happing on RAW this evening. With only two weeks until WrestleMania 35, we should see hype building for RAW’s biggest bouts. However, we won’t be seeing Batista on tonight’s show, as he’s not backstage. It’s more likely that we’ll see him next week when RAW broadcasts out of his hometown of Washington D.C.
Beth Phoenix is scheduled to be backstage tonight, so you can expect the reformed Divas of Doom to factor in at some point. Nattie and Beth will be involved in the Women’s Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania 35.
Whoever ends up backstage, everyone is celebrating that the RAW Women’s Championship Match will be closing out WrestleMania. According to some, it was between that match and Brock Lesnar’s title defense against Seth Rollins, with both matches a possibility until this morning.
Dash Wilder: “We’ll Probably Face Gronkowski at Mania”
On Twitter, Dash Wilder speculates that he and Scott Dawson could be challenging a new team at WrestleMania 35.

Rob Gronkowski is the former tight end for the New England Patriots. He retired from football this morning after a 9-year career.

Rumors have swirled that he’ll make the jump to WWE, and it wouldn’t be the first time he’s appeared. Gronkowski is friends with Mojo Rowley, backing him up during the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royale during WrestleMania 33.
