IMPACT Wrestling Re-establishes Developmental Agreement With Ohio Valley Wrestling

IMPACT Wrestling has announced they have re-established a working relationship with Ohio Valley Wrestling as an official developmental territory.

IMPACT Wrestling Executive VP Scott D’Amore commented on behalf of IMPACT in the announcement, “We are excited to grow our outreach and partnership with promotions worldwide. It is great to work with Al Snow and the team at OVW, which has a long history of developing great talent.”

The new partnership follows a co-promoted One Night Only: Clash in the Bluegrass event by both organizations. OVW owner and CEO, and former TNA agent Al Snow also commented, adding:

“OVW is proud to be entrusted with the development of the true lifeblood of any professional wrestling promotion – the in-ring talent.”

IMPACT Wrestling management will use OVW to scout new talent, and developmental roster wrestlers will earn opportunities to appear on IMPACT’s weekly television show in the future. OVW was purchased by Snow in 2018; the promotion served as the official development training ground for WWE from 2000 to 2008 and as IMPACT Wrestling’s training territory from 2012 to 2014. John Cena, Brock Lesnar and reigning IMPACT World Champion Johnny Impact are just some of the alumni to come from OVW.
