We have an update to pass along regarding the lawsuit against WWE, two-time Hall Of Famer Ric Flair, and Charlotte Flair. Charlotte Flair’s ex-husband, Riki Paul Johnson, is suing the three regarding claims made about him in ‘Second Nature,’ Ric and Charlotte’s autobiography.
Johnson alleges that there were several false statements made about him in the book. Including that he lost two jobs due to drug use, that he was sterile and unable to have children, as well as “multiple false allegations physical and/or psychological abuse,” which he believes he can prove to be false with police reports and dash cam footage.
PWInsider is reporting that, on March 14, The United States District Court, Western District of North Carolina granted Ric Flair and Brian Shields – author of Second Nature – an extended time period to respond to the lawsuit. They will now have until March 28 to respond. However, on March 15, Johnson was given additional time to amend his complaint against WWE, The Flairs, and Shields.
Johnson has been given until March 22 to file an amended complaint. If he decides to do so, the defendants’ time frame to respond will reset.
