Finn Balor On Who He’d Like To Face At Wrestlemania, Today’s Superstars Living A Better Lifestyle

Finn Balor was a guest on the Kris Fade Show while doing promotional work in the United Arab Emirates this week. During the show, Balor spoke about potential Wrestlemania opponents, sharing the ring with Brock Lesnar, how much wrestling has changed for the better, and much more. A few highlights and the audio of the interview appear below:

If he’d like to wrestle Kurt Angle:

“Absolutely, yeah. Obviously, Kurt is someone I’ve looked up to my whole career. Someone I’ve built quite a good relationship with actually in recent years and someone that I’d love to wrestle. I believe his recent retirement speech may mean that that is not possible, but I wish Kurt all the best in his future.”

Sharing the ring with Brock Lesnar:

“He’s a big man. People underestimate how big Bobby Lashley is too. He is fast! I’ve always been intrigued by the David vs. Goliath-style matches. As a kid, watching Andre, Big Show, Kane, Undertaker. So for me getting to step in and challenge myself against those bigger guys is like, something that I enjoy and I thrive on.”

If he hears any of the legendary stories from past WWE Superstars:

“Yeah, I think definitely all these stories of times gone by where it was definitely a lot more Rock N’ Roll. I think the industry has changed, definitely, the scheduled has changed, where it’s a lot more organized from a corporate level. We’re protected a lot more as athletes right now. I think its definitely changed for the better and the Superstars are definitely reaping the rewards of a better lifestyle.”

Who he wants to fight next:

“I would really love to fight Undertaker at WrestleMania, but given that fact that I lost the title on Monday, I’m going to attempt to convince Stephanie – who I know is here at the World Games – to get me a rematch against Bobby Lashley for the IC Title.”
