Rusev Ties WWE Record
On last night’s WWE Fastlane pay-per-view (PPV), the team of Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura were defeated by The New Day’s Big E and Xavier Woods. It looks like the defeat earned “The Bulgarian Brute” a spot in WWE’s record books, but for an accomplishment Rusev likely won’t be too thrilled about.
ESPN’s Andrew Feldman pointed out on Twitter that Rusev is now tied with The Great Khali for most consecutive PPV losses at 17. He now shares the longest PPV losing streak in WWE history with the seven-foot-one Indian:
Rusev's loss on the WWE Fastlane kickoff show was his 17th straight PPV loss. According to ESPN Stats and Info, that ties the Great Khali for the longest PPV losing streak in WWE history.
