On WWE Fastlane Kickoff, a United States Championship match was added to the card. In a rematch from Smack!Down this week, new champion Samoa Joe will defend against R-Truth, Andrade and Rey Mysterio. Andrade and Rey Mysterio will already have a match on Kickoff but they’ll be pulling double duty tonight.
Before the match was announced, Carmella petitioned to get R-Truth a rematch for the title, which he lost on Tuesday’s episode of Smack!Down. With the end of the automatic rematch clause, tonight’s fatal four way is the best outcome he could have hoped for. Fastlane begins at 7 PM EST.
