Shane Strickland, who has been a staple at DEFY Wrestling, announced after his match that he has made his last appearance. According to PWInsider, WWE is interested in the new free agent.
WWE and EVOLVE have a working relationship and Strickland makes frequent appearances at EVOLVE events. PWInsider is reporting that Strickland will start in WWE NXT if he were to sign with the company.
Strickland was also on the MLW roster and Lucha Underground, as Killshot, before he announced that he was a free agent. The Lucha Underground contract was the reason Strickland’s signing with WWE was delayed, according to PWInsider.
