With the big announcement made two days ago that Jushin Liger will be retiring after 30+ years of in-ring competition, the well known event known as WrestleCon decided to drop their surprise early on fans that Liger will be apart of their Supershow event during WrestleMania weekend in April. The masked wrestling legend will be apart of the convention’s Mark Hitchcock Memorial Supershow on April 4th. There is no word as to yet what his role will be or who he may be competing against, but Liger did state he wanted to go around the world before he hangs up the mask in 2020 and New York City looks to be an appropriate place to begin his farewell year. The convention’s Twitter also made mention that Liger will be doing a meet and greet at some point. Tickets are still available.
This was originally going to be one of the many surprises at the WrestleCon Supershow, but in light of his retirement announcement, we want to announce that @Liger_NJPW will be part of the WrestleCon Supershow and we have about 150 tickets remaining https://t.co/8q1mEHajnP pic.twitter.com/g8LmZ5BOr5

Yes, we're going to do a Meet/Greet with the talents that won't be able to attend WrestleCon at a different time. It will be from 5pm-7pm. We're also looking into maybe doing something in the ring post show with Liger too, TBD https://t.co/6nZG7Zybmt
