Finn Balor is the new Intercontinental Champion, winning the title by defeating Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush in a handicap match.
Balor ended up overcoming some early adversity and finally found an advantage after knocking Lashley off the apron. Balor then hit Rush with Slingblade and knocked both opponents onto the floor, following up with a dive over the ropes. He then rolled Rush back in and hit Coupe de Grace to win the title.
Lashley ended up picking Rush up and slamming him on the mat, showing his frustration over losing his title without even being pinned.
This title win marks Finn Balor’s first-ever Intercontinental Championship reign; Lashley’s first and only reign ends at 34 days.
