NFL Playoffs Get The ‘WWE Screw Job’ Treatment
The NFL Playoffs had quite the wild Sunday yesterday. Not only were the games rife with scoring and edge-of-your-seat action, but they certainly had their share of controversial referee calls, particularly in the NFC Championship Game between the New Orleans Saints and the Los Angeles Rams. With basically two minutes left in the game, there happened to be a blatant pass interference call against the Rams that the officials did not call and many believe it costed the Saints a trip to the Super Bowl. Wrestling happens to come in all forms so it wasn’t a huge stretch for fans and wrestlers alike to make their comparisons of the squared circle to the gridiron:
