WWE Applies To Trademark New Show Name
PWInsider.com is reporting WWE applied to trademark the name “Worlds Collide” for a live wrestling show.
According to the filing, WWE wishes to use it in the following capacity:
“IC 041. US 100 101 107. G & S: Entertainment services, namely, a show about professional wrestling; entertainment services, namely, the production and exhibition of professional wrestling events rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network”

PWInsider also reported Dash Wilder of The Revival applied to trademark “#FTR” for wrestling purposes.
Fans will note the term caught on when The Young Bucks were feuding online with Dash and Dawson; the acronym took on several meanings (Dawson’s explanation, and The Elite‘s) depending on what side you aligned with. According to this application, Wilder has applied for a wrestling use and not merchandise:
Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer
