While The Usos failed to earn a shot at the SmackDown Tag Team Championship at WWE Royal Rumble, The Miz took the opportunity for himself (and Shane McMahon)
As “The Era of Opportunity” takes shape, Jey and Jimmy Uso were looking to finally get their two-on-two title shot against Cesaro & Sheamus. In a battle that was at the level of a pay-per-view match, The Usos came close to victory until Jimmy Uso was distracted by the music of Mandy Rose. Rose, who has been eyeing Jimmy in spite of Naomi, was at the entrance ramp in a towel, asking if she left her clothes at his hotel room. The distraction proved fatal for The Uso, as Sheamus knocked him off the apron and left Jey to take the pinfall against Cesaro.
It would be an understatement to say that Jimmy @WWEUsos is FIRED UP! ? #SDLive @WWEUsos @WWESheamus @WWECesaro pic.twitter.com/wvTEiBc2KS

After the match, The Miz made his entrance to the ring to congratulate The Bar and proposed to them an opportunity for themselves: The face The Co-Besties. Amused, Cesaro felt that a team with barely any experience together and “daddy issues” doesn’t deserve an opportunity against The Bar. As he asks this question to Sheamus, The Celtic Warrior Brogue Kicked Miz out of nowhere as Cesaro accepted his challenge.
.@mikethemiz issues a CHALLENGE for #TheBar at #RoyalRumble and it looks like @WWESheamus and @WWECesaro accept… #SDLive pic.twitter.com/fZgfJNDDwh
