NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 13 Attendance

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, New Japan Pro-Wrestling announced that the Wrestle Kingdom 13 attendance at the Tokyo Dome was at 38,162 fans paid. That number is up from last year’s 34,995 and 2017’s 26,192. The show was headlined by the IWGP Heavyweight Title match between Kenny Omega and Hiroshi Tanahashi, in which Tanahashi was victorious.

NEVER Trios Title Match Confirmed

The team of Togi Makabe, Toru Yano, and Ryusuke Taguchi will challenge for the NEVER Openweight Trios Titles during tomorrow’s New Year’s DASH event at Korakuen Hall. After winning the NEVER Trios Gauntlet for the Wrestle Kingdom pre-show, the trio will face the Bullet Club champions of The Guerillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa) and Taiji Ishimori. G.O.D. lost the IWGP Tag Team Titles in a 3-Way featuring EVIL & SANADA (the winners) and The Young Bucks while IShimori won the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship against KUSHIDA.
