Jay White: “Don’t Overlook Me Cos I’m Gonna Beat You Again”
Jay White recently sat down with NJPW, ahead of his Wrestle Kingdom 13 match against Kazuchika Okada. During the interview, he reviewed his year and previewed his upcoming match.
If he wants to stand a chance, he needs to stop overlooking me. That’s my gift to him. You know, I shouldn’t really give that away. It’s gonna help his game plan because it hasn’t been working since. So maybe he should listen to me and maybe, maybe he will make it past 10 minute mark with me. We’ll see. That’s my message to Okada. Focus on me. Nothing else. Don’t overlook me cos I’m gonna beat you again.

Tetsuya Naito used his pre-Wrestle Kingdom 13 interview to call out New Japan Pro-Wrestling for their preferential treatment of IWGP Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho. Naito says that he doesn’t understand the hype behind Jericho, but appreciates the platform to kick his ass.
I can see why New Japan kisses his ass, because he’s a good marketer (Grins). Actually, that all works in my favor because it sets a bigger stage for me to kicks his ass on.
