The final Monday Night RAW of 2018 kicked off in a violent way with Drew McIntyre finally putting away Dolph Ziggler in a Steel Cage match.
Things are starting to get competitive in this #SteelCage Match! Will it be @HEELZiggler or @DMcIntyreWWE who comes out on TOP on #Raw?? pic.twitter.com/3Rp9MvBgeD

The former RAW Tag Team Champions have been at each other’s throats for weeks since McIntyre cast Ziggler aside after revealing to use him as a pawn. After trading a number of wins between each other, including being on the receiving end of defeats to Finn Balor, the two settled their differences in a steel cage structure fitting to close out the year. McIntyre would defeat Ziggler in a long, physical battle, but the war was far from over.

McIntyre would proceed to destroy “The Showoff” with a barrage of punches until he grabbed a steel chair and placed it on the head of Ziggler. He then would deliver a brutal Claymore Kick, adding insult to injury of his former tag partner.
