After spending six months on the sideline due to shoulder surgery, Sami Zayn is on the road back to Monday Night RAW. WWE aired a vignette highlighting the former NXT Champion, continuing to push his recent heel run and “wanting to prove everyone wrong.” His last appearance was at Money In The Bank in June, where he was squashed in a match with Bobby Lashley. Right after that, he took a hiatus to have surgery on both shoulders and given him time for some self-reflection.
It has yet to be determined when he’ll return in a WWE ring, but let the countdown begin.
